Configuration

How to create an agent and configure it?

Prompt

Prompts are basically the scripts or messages that the AI agent would use to speak to your customers or other potential personnel.

  1. Click on “Create New Agent” on dashboard.
  2. Click on the “Configuration” tab in the “My New Agent” section.
  3. Select the “Prompt” tab to change the AI agent’s script and messages.
  4. In the “Welcome Message” tab you can use phrases to introduce your business or its service.
  5. In the “Agent Prompt” tab you can write prompts that can guide AI agents on “how to talk to users or customers”.
  6. Click on “Save” to proceed with the next steps.
  7. You can also reset prompts when required by clicking the “Reset Prompt” button.

LLM

Large language model (LLM) settings for configuring AI agents.

  1. Click on the “LLM” tab to select the choice of your “LLM Provider” and “LLM Models” from their respective drop-downs. For example LLM providers - (OpenAI, DeepInfra, Groq) and their respective models (GPT-4o, Meta Llama 3 70B instruct, Gemma - 7b, etc.)
  2. Then click on the “Save” button.

Voice

Voice settings for AI agents.

  1. Click on the “Voice” tab to choose your AI agent's voice.
  2. You can choose the “TTS provider” and “TTS voice” types from their respective drop-downs.
  3. Then click on the “Save” button.

Call

Calls and number settings are used to set the functionality of AI agents.

  1. Click on the “Call” tab.
  2. Click on the “Import Phone Number” button, and a pop-up will appear.
  3. In the “Import Phone Number” pop-up, fill in the Pilvo Auth ID, Pilvo Auth Token, and Application ID that you can get after buying the phone number from Pilvo.
  4. Click on the “Import” button.
  5. Once the number is saved in the system, you can choose it for the service you would like to avail. For example, for inbound calls, outbound calls, or both.
  6. Select the “Telephone Number Provider” from its respective dropdown. For example, Pilvo.
  7. Select the phone number you want to use for a specific service from the “Number” drop-down.
  8. Then click on the “Save” button.

Tools

Tools ensure the specific service the AI agent will provide for your business.

  1. From the “Tools” tab choose the additional function/service you would like the AI agent to perform for your business.
  2. Then click on the “Save” button.

Speak to Your Agent

(outbound)

  1. Click on the “Speak to Your Agent” button in the right-side corner of the “Your Agent” section.
  2. As soon as you click on the “Speak to Your Agent” button a “Place Outbound Call” pop-up will appear.
  3. To test the outbound call, fill in the receiver’s number, name, and email address.
  4. Click on “Place Call” to do the trial call.
